Investigating multiplicity and natural processes, drawings are an essential component of Avila's oeuvre, and they are the catalyst for the artist's three dimensional works. Avila's installations and public art projects often 'delineate' the sites and have the characteristic of 'drawing' in the space. Utilizing repetition of dots and lines Avila painstakingly creates her exquisite drawings on paper.
